Bridgette | A Slice of History

Hello! Happy Sunday everyone.

Today I have for you a little insight on one of my keen interests, history. I have always been fascinated by the vast culture and heritage that has been endowed to us. The marvels of architecture tantalize me the most. The sheen of lapis lazuli and the robust ambience of the majestic structures takes me to an era I admire. We visited a 'not-so-well-known' monument tucked away in South-Delhi's Green Park area. We were euphoric, we had never visited the Dadi-Poti's Tomb (literally translated as Grandmother-Granddaughter's Tomb). Not much is know about the twin structures that belong to the Lodi Period.

Tranquility was ubiquitous here. The bricks provided the perfect background for the aubergine-hued shirt. Strappy sandals provide the comfort and ease the look required. What else could I ask for? The earrings seemed to be the adequate paraphernalia. The staid outfit needed a bit of jazz which was successfully provided by the studded bag. Do you like it?

We are planning to visit many other monuments and places with the perfect background to compliment our looks. Do let us know, if you know of any in your comments below. We would be grateful.

Hope your Sunday went well.
Countdown for the universally most hated day has begun. :'(
Lets put our fashionable self forward tomorrow. Have a wonderful week.

  1. Looks fabulous! The purple against the silver of the earrings. Are these from Amrapali?
