Bridgette | Let Bygones Be Bygones

Greetings! Welcome you to the new post.

Most of us are guilty of leaning on a few key looks and pieces that we know work but that means we are missing out on tonnes of super-stylish alternatives. One of the things I truly cherish about clothes is their ability to take me back to a specific time and place. This time I felt like I was in the '70s.

Wide leg silhouettes combine the feminine feeling of a skirt with the practicality of a pair of pants. This may sound like an oxymoron but proves to be a killer combination. These pants are perfect for a long day out. I prefer clothes made of fabrics like cotton for this season. Another important tip to keep in mind is to balance the outfit. If you are religiously covering the upper half, feel free to show off the lower half and vice-versa. Attaining this equilibrium will add a touch of sophistication to the outfit.

While working with these pants, I tried to keep it the star of the show. The rest of the outfit was kept simple with an accessory here and there. A statement accessory here and there. Nothing can beat the impact made by a statement necklace and a handchain.

Colours also play an important role when putting together an outfit. A jaunty pastel camisole was enough to brighten up the grey pants. Did you like the combination? Do let me know in the comments below.
