Roseleen | To The Nines

Hey! Happy Wednesday.

There is little that doesn't go well with a pair of distressed jeans, and unsurprisingly, the white button-down is no exception. Both the items are two of my closet's big guns, and together, they look so fresh and so clean.

The versatility of the classic white button-down is perpetual. It has the benefits of a blank slate and can be dressed up or down. I love how I can knot it or tuck it into my favorite pair of jeans, style it with a pair of sneakers or pair it with a voluminous skirt. The options are endless.

I put together the easiest ensemble. A plain white button down and a pair of distressed denims subtracts the efforts made to configure an outfit. Some dainty pieces of jewellery and I was good to go. It takes little effort to look put together. Layered necklace proves that some thought has gone into putting the outfit together.

These photos were taken at the eighteenth century astronomical observatory, Jantar Mantar, Delhi. The condition of the structures was appalling. Couples have marked their visit to Jantar Mantar by scribbling their names on it. It was an eyesore to see the irresponsible approach towards our heritage. I appeal to the citizens to act diligently to make Delhi a World Heritage Site.

Think about it. Have a good day. :)
